Fostering Healthy Kids
Counseling4Kids provides in-home therapy to children who are in Foster Care. All of our therapists are licensed. We are only able to provide services to children who have full-scope MediCal, and who are experiencing symptoms that require mental health intervention.
The following is required to process your referral:
- Copy of the child’s MediCal Card or MediCal Authorization letter
- Copy of Court Minute Order stating child is to receive counseling
- Completed Referral Form

Please FAX these three documents to the office indicated on the referral form.
Counseling in Spanish: Counseling4Kids has several bilingual therapists. Please be aware, however, that there may be a wait for services if a Spanish speaking therapist is required.
Wait List: From time to time, Counseling4Kids reaches our capacity limit of clients and we are unable to assign new cases until other cases close. This is a situation that can change quickly, or may take some weeks. If you are told that the child you are referring is on a waiting list, please be patient. Wait lists are continually in flux.
