You can make a difference in the lives of children placed in foster care.  There are many great group and individual volunteering opportunities at Counseling4Kids.

Event Support: Participate in one of our events as a volunteer.  We need reliable and friendly event support staff.

Gifts4Kids Task Force: Be a part of a committee of dedicated individuals who work within the community to collect new and unwrapped gifts for the children we serve in foster care. 

Silent Auction Committee: Help Counseling4Kids help raise funds for our organization by participating in our silent auction committee.  We need experienced and new volunteers to assist with soliciting donations and coordinating all aspects of the silent auction. 

Group Volunteer Opportunities: If you have five or more people group volunteer activities are a great way for service organizations, faith-based groups and corporations to join together for a great cause!  Here are a few project ideas for groups.

• Fundraise for Counseling4Kids: There are fun ways you can help raise money for Counseling4Kids as a group: hold a car wash, yard sale, bake sale or host a party and collect an entry fee and donate the proceeds to C4K.  There are several ideas you can do!  Chat with Community Liaisons to determine the best activity for your group.
• Gifts4Kids: Collect gifts within your group (company, church, sorority or fraternity) and join us for our Wrap Party every December.
• Run Together: Run for health and for healing when you participate in Counseling4Kids Team C4K at the LA Marathon in March 2012.  Whether your group can tackle the marathon or you want to participate in the 5K doing it together is half the fun!
