In celebration of National Foster Care Awareness Month, Counseling4Kids is hosting an event for 200 foster children and their families. The event will takes place at Flappers Comedy Club in Downtown Burbank on a Saturday in May.

This is an outreach event for Counseling4Kids' foster children clients and invited children from other local non-profits. The event is inspired by healing through laughter and celebrates the compassionate people who make a difference in the lives of Los Angeles County foster children by serving as foster parents, relative caregivers, advocates, volunteers, and the children themselves.

The event is free for all guests. Last May 2011 we had wonderful sponsors such as U.S Bank, Burbank Sunrise Kiwanis, Super Shuttle, City National Bank, Burbank Sunrise Rotary, Allegory Photography, Printing Matters, via promotional, and Camille’s catering. The day’s agenda includes a red carpet walk, buffet lunch, family comedy show, and goodie bags.
