Every May, Counseling4Kids celebrates National Foster Care Awareness Month.   This month-long celebration shines a light on the experiences of more than 400,000 children and youth in the foster care system. Counseling4Kids salutes the compassionate people who make a difference in the lives of Los Angeles County foster children by serving as foster parents, relative caregivers, mentors, advocates, social workers, and volunteers.  We honor you as incredible community heroes. 

Counseling4Kids hosts an annual event for our clients every May called, Healing Through Laughter, Two Milk Minimum. (make the title a link to the page on the website) This exciting event bring together the foster care community for a day of laughter and fun for all involved. Our next Two Milk Minimum is scheduled for Saturday, May 19, 2011.
