Events are one way Counseling4Kids raises awareness and funds necessary to maintain or programs.  We have a variety of events throughout the year that give our supporters a chance to connect with our agency.

Run for Health, Run for Healing – Team C4K participates in the LA Marathon

Saturday, March 17, 2012 (LA 5K) Sunday, March 18, 2012 (Honda La Marathon) Join Counseling4Kids and the Honda LA Marathon’s “I Run 4 Something” campaign as we encourage all of our supporters to take on the challenge to run for health and run for healing for Los Angeles’ children in foster care.  Whether you participate in the LA Marathon or LA 5K help raise funds and awareness for Counseling4Kids know that each step you take represents the steps our clients take each day in their own journey in healing from the traumas they have experienced.

2 Milk Minimum, Healing through Laughter

In celebration of Foster Care Month, Counseling4Kids throws a party for the children we serve in foster care, the foster parents, relative caregivers, mentors, advocates, social workers and volunteers by giving a very special magic and comedy show at the Flappers Comedy Show in Burbank.   Enjoy a red carpet walk, food and fun when you celebrate with the children we serve.

Gifts4Kids Holiday Wrap Party

Volunteer and socialize when you join Counseling4Kids for their annual Holiday Wrap Party.  Throughout the fall months we collect gifts and in early December host a wrap party that brings the community together.  Bring a new, unwrapped gift and share in the joy of gift giving for a child in foster care.
