Special thanks to all of our hardworking volunteers who helped make the holidays bright for over 500 children in foster care.  Gifts4Kids is our annual gift giving drive that benefits the children and youth we serve.  Volunteers participated in a Holiday Wrap Party, wrapping over 500 gifts donated by corporations and local community members.  Thanks everyone for your help and support!  Contact your Community Liaison to join the Gifts4Kids task force in 2012.

For the second year in a row the Burbank Sunrise Rotary Club has been Counseling4Kids secret santa to teens in foster care. They helped greatly by donating specifically to our teen clients, 65 gift cards from Target. The gift cards were used for our Gifts4Kids program that provides a holiday gift to every client we are currently serving.  On behalf of our 1,100 clients we serve yearly, C4K would like to say THANK YOU! This warm and wonderful group does so much for the community. Your dedication and service is appreciated in our community. They currently support over 9 non-profits in the Burbank community through volunteering, support, and monetary means. They have also won best service group in their district for charitable giving and community service for the last 2 years in a row!

Toyota Motor Sales, USA Logistics department in Torrance, CA helped make the holidays bright for children in foster care by participating in Counseling4Kids annual Gifts4kids drive this year.  The Logistics department has always had a strong focus in giving back to the community.   “It was an absolute pleasure to work with Counseling4Kids.  We just wanted the kids to have a great Christmas,” said Penina Thomas, Transportation Claims Supervisor.  Gifts were delivered just in time for the holidays and included toys for all ages, bath and body gift sets, balls, sports apparel and many other items. “Counseling4Kids is such a worthwhile organization and we’re so happy that there are people out there that look after the children of the world,” said Thomas.
